sleep HAA battery
Sleep heavy anti-aircraft battery was one of the many gun sites protecting the cordite factory at Holton heath. Most of the site was demolished in the 60s due to the buildings being used by travellers. One Nissen hut does still exist, hidden at the side of the field. The battery would have been very similar to the one at Arne as the photos below show.
